Percy Jackson's Necklace

Yep. I'm at it again. Painting more beads (and getting better at it, thank the gods). I decided to do Percy's necklace. As I'm sure you book buff's know, there aren't any beads given for the last few books because they either didn't take place at CHB, or it wasn't during the summer. So, Percy only has four beads (supposedly).

The first bead is, of course, the trident. The second is the golden fleece. The third is the labyrinth with the symbol of Daedalus in the center. And the last is the empire state building with the first initial of each named camper who died in the book in ancient greek (yes, I am that big of a geek. I actually looked it up. Don't judge me.)
**percy did not have Thalia's tree bead. I know a lot of you are asking about it, but according to the books only campers who were there the year she sacrificed herself had that bead, like Annabeth and Luke. So percy didn't have it cause he wasn't there!**

I'm planning on opening an Etsy page in the coming week where this and a few other items will be up for sale. This necklace is made from hand painted 14mm wooden beads that are sealed with a clear coat to protect them. They are water RESISTANT, not waterPROOF, so I would strongly discourage getting them wet. Also, being that each bead is essentially a work of art in itself, I would recommend them being handled with care. Don't be yanking on it or wearing it to your warrior dash marathon. Each bead is painted to be double sided, so there is a mirror image of the design on both sides. The cord is woven leather with an adjustable clasp to give a few more inches of length. Price is undetermined, but I project this one being $15-$20 plus shipping.

I will only be selling things I have already made, for now. I'm considering taking custom orders in the future, but for the moment i'm just testing the waters. I will put up a journal entry announcing when the shop opens. First come first serve! I will be making a few more of these, so if you reeeeally want one and you miss out the first time, fret not. There will be other chances.
