A Story Never Told: A World War II Story (Intro)Introduction
Some people say there is no such thing as a miracle, but to me there is. When I was a little girl, my great Uncle John told me a story about when he fought in World War II. I would always sit on the couch and listen to his wonderful stories. You may think right now, why is this a example of a miracle? Well, every minute I was with my uncle, I was thankful for being with him every minute I could be with him. The only time I could see him were on Christmas Eve, right before Christmas Day. Occasionally, I would see him on Mother's Day when he came with his daughter Mary, who was my mom's cousin. I always would listen to him as he told the stories of World War II that fascinated me.

Prologue

I sat on the concrete and watched the cars drive by. Rain splattered my face and knees. Pulling them closer I tugged at the raincoat around my shoulders. The wind buffeted my face, whipping my hair in it’s icy breath.
The bus was three hours late. By this stage, I knew it wasn’t coming, but I had no choice but to wait in the dark for another to come along. I had no other way out of the city.
Beep beep. My phone buzzed from the inner pocket I’d put it in, to protect it from the rain.
I flicked the lid open and opened the message. My heart was pounding, could it be him? I read through the cracked screen.

Me: How come you guys *points at Fang, Dagger and Zack* don't do as I say, unlike my other characters?

My bedchamber is sunny and filled with the ticking of my timepiece collection. About a hundred clocks line the wall behind my bed—some are gold, some are silver, and one or two are made of a strange metal that shines different colors: pinks, blues and yellows. He hasn't been in contact with anyone for months, and anyone he found either ran away from him or attacked him because he was different.
This Man didn't have a name, didn't have a family, didn't have any friends, or a place to call his own.
So he wonders the woods trying to find someone who can accept him for who he was, but that was unlikely for he was a lizard man.

Jon is a young norse elf, and a member of a barbaric tribe of Ulfkai who reside in the frozen Uthkal Mountains. This story follows his life as he becomes a man, and is forced from his pack family to begin his life as a rogue. This is chapter one. If you like fantasy, barbarians, and elves... you might like this story! I wrote this last year in my spare time and stumbled across it... I forgot how much I love Jon!! <3

How did I come up with norse elves? It's simple! I like to rp on The Keep... and I got tired of seeing all the pansy little male elves flitting around with their feminine features and slender willowy figures. I was like.... I need a manly elf. A big, burly, barbarian elf that rides on a giant wolf and has dreadlocks. And thus, Jon was born.
